" As a POC: People of Colour therapist and being part of the BIPOC community in Montreal, I support BIPOC individuals, couples, families and children. By understanding each client’s cultural background and lived experiences, I collaboratively explore the client's needs in order to set goals together. I offer individualized treatment focused on the person, rather than issues to work towards increasing self-awareness, insight, and improving overall wellbeing. I integrate not only creative arts therapy, but also MBSR: Mindfulness-based stress reduction & EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing among other treatment approaches, to assist clients working through their current challenges and PTSD/ C-PTSD.

I am dedicated to help couples and families develop a healthy relationship. Also, I guide parents/ caregivers to work on their parenting to establish secured bonds within the family. Working with children and teens is one of my specialized clinical skills. Other areas of specialization include helping people who are struggling with work/ school related difficulties, cultural/ gender identity challenges, life transitions such as going through academic/career changes, grieving, mental/physical illnesses as well as supporting family members’ mental/physical illnesses. Helping individuals who are facing hardships while experiencing cultural differences and assimilating in unfamiliar living environments is my passion.

** Offering a sense of safety in my practice is one of the important aspects. â€‹Please feel free to contact me. "
