Creative Art Therapists
Creative art therapists use therapeutic approaches such as art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy and movement therapy practiced by licensed professionals that use art and creativity as a means to support a balanced mental health.
Creative arts therapists and expressive arts therapists are often registered and licensed counsellors and psychotherapists who use these modalities in their work with a client, and as such are often part of a counselling association or a psychotherapy order. Through studying at an accredited academic institution, these professionals will specialize in one or more creative arts modality in combination with intense clinical training related to emotional and cognitive human development and the therapeutic process.
