FIND BIPOC MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

The TLC team is currently on a hiatus until 2024, in order to rest and recharge. As such, the website has not been updated since December of 2022. When contacting professionals that you would like to work with, please ensure that you verify that all of the information displayed on their profile is still valid, for example: their fees and whether they are still taking on clients.

Thank you for your understanding.

"Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare."

Land Acknowledgment

We as a collective would like to acknowledge that we are doing this work on various stolen lands, that belong to the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk), or so-called “Montreal”.

We thank the Indigenous Peoples for stewarding and tending to these lands for generations. We pay great respect to the elders, both past, present, and future.

We acknowledge that as non-colonial settlers and displaced peoples, we occupy and participate in the exploitation of land that is not ours. We support ‘LANDBACK’ and Indigenous Sovereignty.

With humility, reverence and gratitude, we ask that you use our website as a tool to find and offer resources & services for healing, decolonizing our ways of being and knowing and dismantling violent colonial systems. We invite you to reflect on your role individually and communally, in the liberation and restoration of land, language, culture, ceremony and medicine for all Indigenous Peoples and communities that have been forcefully displaced.
